Hello everyone,

 

Here at Chalkhead Baptist Church our desire is to be REAL in a world that needs Jesus, show that God’s Word is RELEVANT in today’s world, and be RELATIONAL with Christ and others.

 

Followers of Christ are no different than anyone else except we have personally experienced the love and forgiveness that Christ offers to us all. We are REAL, ordinary people who experience the highs and lows of life with God’s peace within our hearts. Yes, the Bible was written many years ago, but it is still as RELEVANT to our life today as when it was first written. Its truths apply to our daily life pointing us to a Creator who loves you and me so much (John 3:16). We can have hope today because our hope is found in Jesus Christ. The family of Chalkhead desires to show others how the eternal Word of God applies to everyday life. We all need a RELATIONSHIP with Jesus Christ as our Savior, and we should seek to grow that relationship daily. As we follow Him, we want to build relationships with others as well, encouraging one another and lending a hand to help each other. We desire to walk with each other on this journey we call life.
